UJA-Federation has been a central force for communal planning and philanthropy in the New York Jewish community. Through UJA-Federation, close to 60,000 donors pool their resources to help people in need, inspire a passion for Jewish life and learning, and strengthen Jewish communities around the world. Working with nearly 100 network beneficiary agencies, synagogues, and other Jewish organizations, such as the Samuel Field Y, their reach spans from New York to Israel to more than 60 other countries around the world.
The Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds has enabled hundreds of thousands of children to have summers of fun since 1953. HKC offers a rural oasis to Jewish Community Centers and YM-YWHAs in the greater New York area for their summer camps. Since it’s inception, the Samuel Field Y summer camps have operated at the Henry Kaufmann Campgrounds for many of our summer options.
The American Camp Association, New York and New Jersey (ACA, NY and NJ) is a private, not for profit organization dedicated to preserving, promoting and enhancing the quality of the summer camp experience. Because of camp, children and adults have the opportunity to learn important lessons in community, character-building, skill development, and healthy life lessons that can’t be learned anywhere else. ACA, New York and New Jersey’s operation falls into three overall program areas; accreditation, camper placement and professional development.

Through educational programs, events, and museum services, the Queens County Farm Museum looks to educate the public as to the significance of Queens County's agricultural and horticultural past and heighten awareness of present-day sustainable agricultural and horticultural practices. The only of it’s kind, the Farm provides the families in Queens with several recreational opportunities and serves as the essence of our Summer Camp Live program.
The Lisa Beth Gerstman Foundation enables children with special needs in the New York Metropolitan Area and the Northeast United States to experience summer camp. By partnering with existing accredited camps like the Samuel Field Y, the Foundation affords families the ability to send children into integrated camp settings.
The J.E. & Z.B. Butler Foundation supports life-enhancing opportunities for at-risk and underserved individuals and families through partnerships with community-based organizations.
The Foundation supports innovative direct service programs that respond to emerging community needs and collaborates with community and agency leaders to create networks that provide a continuum of services.
