Summer Camp Live! (Entering grades 1-5)

Welcome to Summer Camp Live!... The Samuel Field Y is excited to offer a unique camping experience in conjunction with the Queens County Farm Museum in Little Neck. Campers will have the opportunity to explore the natural outdoor setting of the farm and learn from the farm’s talented experts. Campers will also enjoy exciting and specialized activities such as, Science, Cooking, Nature, Photography, as well as, Arts & Crafts led by the Y’s kind, involved, dedicated staff. Our weekly option provides flexibility for your family. You can also choose a 3 or 5 day option. Campers are dropped off at the farm at 9:00 am and are picked up at 12:00 pm. Transportation to and from camp is the responsibility of the parent. Snack is provided daily.

Academic Summer Enrichment (Entering grades 1-4)

Welcome to Academic Summer Enrichment... The Samuel Field Y in Little Neck provides the center for this 1/2 day morning program. Learning does not have to stop during the summer months. Have your child continue their academic learning throughout the summer 3 or 5 mornings from 9:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. Dynamic instruction in Math, Reading, Writing and Science are all part of the curriculum led by a New York State Certified Teacher. American Red Cross Swim Instruction will also be a part of the program at the Deepdale Pool across the street from our site on selected days. Transportation from target areas in Eastern Queens and Nassau County is available for an additional fee. Snack is provided daily.

Sports Camp (Entering grades 2-5)

Welcome to Sports Camp... a program designed for children of all abilities who want to spend their time this summer playing a variety of sports. This is a program designed for fun, as well as improving your child’s skills. Sports Camp creates an atmosphere where campers build self-esteem, improve teamwork and establish new friendships. Clinics, taught by our professionals in their field, help round out your child’s sports experience. Camp trips are a part of the program and our Sports Campers are out experience. Camp trips are a part of the program and our Sports Campers are out exploring throughout the summer. A late night or overnight will thrill your campers an an added summer highlight. Sports such as softball, basketball, flag football, soccer, tennis and volleyball, are all a part of this action-packed program. A hot or cold lunch option is available for all sports campers.

Summer Fun & Learn (Entering grades 2 - 5)

Welcome to Summer Fun & Learn... a unique program that combines a 1/2 day of reading, writing, science and math with a 1/2 day of sports, swim and fun! Our beautiful 350 acre campgrounds are the setting for this full day summer program. A Certified Teacher implements the curriculum. All campers swim daily with professionally supervised American Red Cross instruction. Campers also get to participate in drama, arts and crafts, performing arts, archery, martial arts, pioneering and nature, each supervised by a talented professional in their field who make the programs come alive. Your Summer Fun & Learner's program gets rounded out with exciting day trips and special days created just for them. Your campers can still participate in camp-wide events such as our famous Carnival and enjoy the wonderful entertainers that we bring to camp. A hot or cold lunch option is available for all Summer Fun & Learn campers.
